Tricia's French Bread

Here is the French bread(this makes 2 loafs) I
think this will go perfect with Ashlee's soup! Love to all.

8 Cups flour
1 Tablespoon salt
2 Tablespoon instant yeast
1/4 cup granulated sugar
2 Tablespoon olive oil
3 cups very warm water
Mix 6 c. flour to other dry ingredients. Add wet ingredients. Then stir in
remaining flour 1 c. at a time and knead until smooth and stiff(but not
sticky). Divide dough in half. flatten 1/2 of the dough into rectangle
(about 10x16). Then roll starting with long edges. Tuck edges under. Place
on greased cookie sheet and coat with oil. Cut 3 diagonal slashes on top.
Then do the same to the other 1/2 of the dough. Let rise about 45 min. Bake
in hot oven 425 18-20 min. until golden and sounds hollow when tapped.
