Raspberry Pretzel Jello Salad

Raspberry Pretzel Jello Salad is a family favorite, especially  around the holidays. I always thought that pretzels and jello together was a weird combination but then I tried it and it totally works! It is a yummy twist to Jello and I am sure that you will be more than pleasantly surprised!

2c. Pretzels, crushed
3/4c. Butter, melted
3TBSP Sugar
                
     Mix these 3 ingredients and press into a 9x13 pan. Bake at 400* for 8min, let cool

1-8oz. pkg. cream cheese
2 tubs Cool Whip(1202 size?), thawed
1c. powdered sugar

   Mix cream cheese, 1tub cool whip (save the second tub for later) and powdered sugar.
   Beat until smooth, spread over cooled pretzel, seal edges, chill until firm

1Lg.Box of Raspberry or Strawberry Jello
2c. Water, boiling
2-10oz. pkg. of frozen raspberries OR Strawberries

   Mix jello, water and frozen fruit
   pour over cream cheese mixture, chill till firm, top with remaining tub of cool whip (no cream cheese is mixed with this cool whip)
